Welcome to Plantastic Science! I am so glad you are here.
My name is Christiane and I just started my Senior year of high school in London. I started Plantastic Science back in 2021. Why? To put it simply, I LOVE plants and learning about them.
Living in a large city, I did not think it was possible to engage with plants as frequently as I wanted to. It’s not as if I could just walk into a back garden and examine what I love! Regardless of where you are, plant biology should be off limits. That’s why Plantastic Science is here.
I wanted other young people who were interested in plant biology to get the opportunity to delve deeper into a subject they were interested in. For those who find plant biology foreign, I wanted to give them the opportunity to potentially find a new field to be curious about.
On this website we have links to our podcast where we talk about topics ranging from large tropical ecosystems to plant hormones and everything in between. Additionally, feel free to read some of the articles or participate in our debate room! This site is really for you and so use it in the way that’s best for you.

Hi everyone!
My name is Anoushka. I am 14 years old and hail from Uttar Pradesh. I originally found Plantastic Science last year, where I joined all the Zoom calls and debates on areas related to plants. I really enjoyed this and so reached out to get involved after reading some of the articles published. After we started the podcast, Plantastic Science has only grown and I cannot wait to see how it develops.
